The interim DeKalb schools superintendent has rescheduled last weekend's appearance to March 10 at 7:30 pm.

DeKalb Interim Schools Superintendent Michael Thurmond is holding a public meeting in Dunwoody on Sunday, March 10, at 7:30 pm.
The meeting is being hosted by the Dunwoody Homeowners Association and will be held at the Kingsley Racquet and Swim Club, 2325 N. Peachtree Way.
I would expect a packed house. This is a job that presents a challenge that I hope Mr. Thurmond is ready and prepared for. The ADULT problems are so bad and yet the ones who will suffer are the kids.
As tough as this is to hear, this should not be about our home prices, or the lack of economic development as a result of lousy school board. Both are important and it is why the Governor got so deeply involved, but the outrage should be over the students and the long lasting impact that this whole mess will have on their future.
